• Discussed Renaissance and Reformation unit to check how backwards planning affected student outcomes.
• Started planning projects for the upcoming unit on Exploration
• Discussed potential ideas for the Exploration Exam and backwards planning.

PLC 10/08

Attendance: Johnson and Gray

Summary: We worked on identifying Backpack skills that we could utilize in our upcoming units. Discussed how we could incorporate more digital copies of student work for easy access to use as backpack evidence.

PLC 09/13 and 09/20

Attendance: Johnson and Gray

Summary: 09/13 continued working on new assignments to increase the rigor of the Renaissance and Reformation unit. More focus has been placed on writing and using evidence to support their claims.

Summary: 09/20 Began finalizing our Renaissance and Reformation writing prompts for the unit exam. Brainstorming for ways to talk about cultural competency within the Reformation section and trying to help students become more culturally aware in regards to world religions.
